The Xperia 1ii is definitely not for everyone, but that's why I like Sony. They are not for the mass, they are for the ones that want to stick out and be a little less mainstream.
But still in top quality. It's not all black and white.
In fact I can show you DSRL-like quality from the phones camera.
I love Sony, because it's my signature.
I'm not just another iPhone person.
Neither am I another Samsung user.

Fearghast, 23 Dec 2020"Slower during pandemic" the beloved victim card.... moreOh pleaseee, you're acting Sony who is the only one getting the victim from this shocking pandemic effect, especially from an economic perspective, where every part of the world getting the effects like no other (you acting like you're gonna ignore the recessions that happened around the world, and private-owned firms are those drive most of the respective country's economics).
Big companies, medium enterprises, small firms, peoples, even the central government system, all receiving the effects. Sure, few of them successfully dodging this effect, but that's only a fraction of companies who did reach that velocity during this time... Be grateful they deliver the Android 11 update in time.

I got an update last day ( Xperia 5) here in Canada. Just around 140 mb .

Sony best ? So why only 4 phones in last year ?! Why they lose again in camera ? Sony 1 and 5 II lose vs Huawei P30/40 Pro, Samsungs S10/20 series, Apple 11/12, Google Pixel, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and OnePlus 8 Pro.
And now they even resigned from their own apps/launcher, there is no Album application, practically everything from Google that shows the company's approach and probably withdrawing from the market. Since they cannot afford to refine some basic applications.

Arrived on the 21st and seems to be a tidy implementation of 11, shame it came with November's security patch rather than December.

Fearghast, 23 Dec 2020"Slower during pandemic" the beloved victim card.... moreThey do not have tons of people working on it like Samsung, Apple, BBK , Huawei and Xiaomi. Situation is not similar all over the world. There are areas where things are worse. They made clear months ago they were going to limit number of ppl at their facilities and things would be slower.
Check previous years, at this point they used to have at least 4-5 devices with new android.
