Sony seeding stable Android 11 to Xperia 1 and Xperia 5 units

The latest version of Android comes a month earlier than what Sony had promised in its roadmap.

Just upgrade to 11 on Vodafone UK seems fine so far, running smoothly and no issues

    This version should NOT be applied.
    Mobile data communication becomes unstable. Communication is possible for a while after rebooting, but after a while it becomes impossible.
    It was stable in the previous version, and it started happening after applying this version in Model J9110.

    I hope Sony will fix this soon.

            Having the latest is great and all. But i'm kinda dissapointed that it didn't fix the green hue on the screen issue.

                  Hello, did any else have a issue with receiving text messages. It would work then not work, do a full data erase and worked for 5 minutes. Any one else have that issue.

Every update ruins degrades the phone. Are you not happy? Majority off normal users don't give jksht about updates. Looks like your phone is your everything. Don't you have a life?
                              Don't tell me about security updates. Are you doing business on your phone or transaction over £5000……?
                              Majority use VPN and antivirus to bypass scams frauds.

                                Android 11 update changelog

                                -Xperia desktop framework is fully adapted to full-screen gestures and supports third-party desktops (such as nova) to take over. Previously, it could not be activated under full-screen gestures on Android 10. The transitions are all updated with new special effects.
                                -Supports screen recording and can share WiFi hotspots with other devices
                                -Dark mode can be automatically turned on/off according to the scheduled time
                                -Supports dialogue bubble and priority dialogue
                                -After Bluetooth audio device is connected, it can be directly seen and displayed in the notification bar Switching
                                -Horizontal screen games and movie watching apps are perfectly full-screen display under full screen gestures
                                -Game mode has been added to the game icon collection, after opening, you will not see the game icons in the Xperia application list
                                -Game mode supports competition mode
                                -Other Android 11 native features and the latest security patches
