Anonymous, 02 Sep 2012OMG!!!...People just dont know yet, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean ... moreyou hear a lot claiming 4.1 doesn't lag now.

But we also heard that same claim with 4.0 and 2.3 before that , that it never lags as well.

        Interesting.....what is it then?
less lag? hiding the lag better...? haha

Android was born to lag and always will.
If you read up why it lags in the first place , it will always be there.

Anonymous, 02 Sep 2012HTC wp phones has failed before. This will fail....I currently use an HTC HD7, upgraded from an HD2. I love this damn thing. Even though it's older, single cored, low specs, it's still faster and smoother than any android I've used. I replaced it with a GS2 and after about a month I returned the GS2 so I can wait for WP8. There was nothing wrong with the GS2 except it did freeze on me a couple times. I just liked the Windows experience better. Everything I use is integrated into the phone, and with the hardware and software being seriously revamped, I am DYING to get my hands on a new WP8 device with less regard to brand.

I dont know how people can think Android is smoother and has less lag than Windows phone...not true at all.
I work in a senior role in a large telco company and my staff have to deal with Android problems weekly, i cannot remember when i had a customer with a glitchy Windows phone..why..because they are smooth as silk and run without lag.
Android for children and tech geeks, Windows for people who think there is more to life than customizing a phone and want smooth performance.

Jellybean is hiding lag by trying to make it smoother on the eye. Fans lap it up as an effect now.

Google rushed to complete Android, but it was too late to rewrite the UI framework.

Android user interface will never be completely smooth because of the design constraints that limit UI rendering to the main thread of an app with normal priority.

fixing the problem would require a rewrite.

"Android was built to lag, and there’s little Google can do about it" software engineer Andrew Munn.

Jeanbean is just another attempt at that.
