This companies used the word "pro" so much it actually lost all it's values. Pro meant professional, now it means more expensive with no added value but some hardware. Professional meant a lot of tweaks and features added for a better working enviroment, something that gave someone a reason to think if buying a Professional version of something (whatever) makes sense. Now they made the word as useless as the devices behind it.

It's one more way to fool NPC people. I bet it will use PLC or QLC NAND flash storage, which means very short lifespan. They and the phone reviewers won't mention this information.
My LG V20 has MLC NAND flash storage, and I have an industrial MLC microSD card. This is the best flash storage technology for phones.

Adding a memory slot is a lot better idea than having a tons of disk space which once when filled up is a biiig problem.

I don't think a shorter notch makes sense. They would have to make adjustments to the top bar, that would impact basically all apps ...
If it became narrower, the impact would not be as big. That space doesn't have to be filled with content. And if it gets filled, the only things there are like status bar icons, and those are controlled by Apple only.

If the 512GB storage variant of the current iPhone 12 Pro Max is $1,399, I'm pretty sure this one will cost around $1,500 or more with 1TB storage.
