Android OS is much more superior than iOS in many areas:
- open source, all the makers like it and can customize to its own unique UI
- flexible and user is allow to customize the UI. Unlike iOS, you need to jail break
- you can drag and drop the file from PC. Unlike iOS you need the difficult to use iTune
-it support almost all movie and music format such as .mkv or flac but iOS does not support
-almost all the apps are free in Android but you need to pay for apps run on iOS
Another important feature that iPhone is lacking behind is the SD card slot for memory expansion.
This is the reason why iPhone 5 has no way better than Galaxy S3 from hardware and software perspectives. S3 is designed for HUMANs.

guyver, 06 Sep 2012don't say that, we all know that android os is the best to... moreandroid OS have a kernel problem from the very beginning..it make it lag,ios is old that is true bat is a lot more stable and about customization ...hehehe depend who use it :DDD ...both of them have their fans...anyway till the end of 2014 it will be beans,or ice cream..history...windows mobile will take over ..it is a fact same as the targets now are start to be clear.. Microsoft versus Google..wonder who was the one to really pay the court apple versus the promoter of android sgs2..android it was long ago bat it reach on the top with galaxy 2 and after galaxy3... Microsoft need market for his wp8, Nokia plays her last card now ,if the lumia is not sold ..it will go to closure,the only android phone on the future it will remain Motorola..from all this apple have to win...android no more on the game,wp8 on market bat not a treat to ios because is far inferior,---at the end:all companies will go for windows mobile,otherwise they will go to court for infringements and patents..gates have Nokia for this..,, Nokia survive, Microsoft win by selling so many licenses ,the monopoly of Google it will come to an end.and ios remain the most advanced os ever so apple win too with the help of gates..what irony :D

It's yes, if only iphone 5 meets:
- Weight less than 133 g --not a ,,must,,bat i must agree with you
- Display larger than 4.8 inches --- o NO,,i do not have any pants to fit that tv,the size of 4g is ideal.
- Camera more than 8 MP-- somebody invented the photo camera go and try it on.5 mp will do the job
- CPU Quad-core faster than1.4 GHz--even i krait is more than enough to play any game till today at full settings,,so what for the other 3 cores? :)
- Battery life more than 11.5 hrs..here i must agree with you..it is a well known issue actually this is the only thing that i wanna see on the future iphones

sorry man i prefer gs3 BUT the fact is apple ios does not need that much of a prossesor to be smoother and run better stuff than gs3 , the screen does not have to be same or bigger since many users prefer the one of iphone u have to respect that when u talk about better for sure judgements or try to and the battery life of iphone is rather enough when used on appropriate settings ... we like samsung BUT thats not a reason to bury apple like that , afterall if it wasnt the iphone gs3 would be a dream unending
