A tech company, one meant to bring tech in your home is producing ... cars... lol. Jobs is rotating in his grave, they are killing his company.

Not one new tech category in 10 years (since his death) and now give up on tech altogether and move to cars? The Apple spirit is dead. We long suspected it (no new tech category, merely rehashing of the old) but now we are sure...

Apple is becoming a souless conglomerate, the very thing that Steve Jobs was hating on and basically founded Apple (to battle against). They are becoming the demon they promised to fight... lol, how ironic.

Fearghast, 03 Feb 2021Well at least they have chosen Kia and not something like W... moreHave you compared Ford's build quality to a kia / Hyundai?
Don't get me wrong, Kia and Hyundai are probably good for their price but if you want a solid car Ford makes great cars. Where I live, in the country side of Canada you don't see many Kia / Hyundia because they simply don't last.
Maybe electric is ideal for city folk's who drive a few blocks but not for people who travel any distance and can't charge during their work day.
    Combustion engines aren't going anywhere.

Probably, indicators will be optional extras and if there is a issue, it drivers fault. All of us has to start to learn to drive "apple way"

            The new Foxconn.

Now we're certain of the exponentially higher prices (apple tradition).

Well at least they have chosen Kia and not something like WW or Ford ... could be much better like investment to something more sustainable and convenient - hydrogen, but at least it's something that can potentially bring a good result.

I could imagine how the auto driving experience will be 'less scary' if you pair your iPhone / iPad to the car instead of Android.
Are they going to use Apple maps for the autonomous driving, lol.
