Isn't it fun to buy a phone and not knowing where the components come from due to them coming from multiple sources?

UWA with AF can get close to 2.5cm, main lens limited to 4.0cm. That spider picture? Sits on my jeans pants. I will never get that kind of shot using main lens even when cropped.

Stop giving funny statement when you dont have any experience using it yourself.

Yeah I get it, everything that Apple, Samsung, Huawei do in the camera space must be shameful and despicable amirite?

Ultrawide camera is also used to shoot videos, so AF is super important.
Macro from Main sensor is just terrible and you can't get too close. You probably never used macro mode through Ultrawide to know the difference.

[deleted post]Apple gets new sensors every year.
                    Most OEMs do it.

Just few OEMs that use same sensor for more than one year.
                    Google, OnePlus and usually Sony.

” One of the features I tend to look for on ultra-wide mobile cameras is autofocus. You’d be surprised how many brands don’t include this option. Even wide-angle pioneer LG hasn’t included this on its flagships, and the Pixel 5 lacks this option too.”

So why so few have one? What is the reason?
