i was actually thinking of buying the maxx hd the very day it came out, something i never do. but since they arent bothered bringing it out in europe ill have to go and spend my money somewhere else i suppose. ffs

This is a real shame, was waiting for a year for this phone.
Its devastating news to hear that it isnt gooing to launch in europe.

No razr maxx hd GSM version in Europe... this is really really a bad decision. a lot of people would love to get their hands on a phone which actually lasts more than one day when being used....

If my RAZR does not get Jelly Bean end of 2012 I very much doubt if I will get another Motorola phone. I love their design and build quality..but if they cant be bothered to keep my phone that I paid a lot of money for up to date...then they can go to hell!

BTW, the reason for the delay was not Motorola, it was a dispute between T-Mobile and Google. Anyhow, all the new phones will be available as developer editions for advanced user. All RAZRs will receive Jellybean before christmas. All 2011 Motorola's who are able to run Jellybean will also recive it. This was announced by Motorola's New CEO from Google.

removeable back cover for the iPhone is because you
will see that their chipset came from Samsung, screen
from LG and camera from Sony! haha! well done Apple!

Marco, 06 Sep 2012ICS for RAZR has been out since June.Yeah...if you are a american and on Verizon or something. Even the UK only started getting their ICS very recently. France only started getting their RAZR ICS yesterday.

... moreNokia is not shy on marketing and pays a lot to tech sites. All norwegian mobile and other IT newspapers only feature Nokia. Hence more views on Nokia. Doesn't make it a better device, just more money on marketing.
All andoird can be smooth, Android isn't laggy. Some launchers are. Even a 550MHz Droid/Milestone with 2.0 runs with no lag on LauncherPro.
WP8 offerns nothing new over Android, just a more locked UI - like ios - and fewer apps. Android is still the best, though I hope WP8 can steal some marketshare from IOS, as well as I hope people soon grow up and don't only buy what they see on TV. RAZR HD and MAXX are way better than any SIII and Optimus 4x. Even so, it will probably never sell as much 'cause Motorola is invisible outside the US.
The Coming Optimus G will have more power, but less battery life and not as good a screen. Only better for pure phone gamers and none other.
