k, 05 Sep 2012nice midranger, though there is billion with similar specs.... moreActually this will be the first with dual-core Krait in a mid-ranger available outside of China (Xiaomi). Others use dual krait, or equally powerful quadcore in their high end devices.
The Nokia 820, with same CPU, will have much lower screen res (WVGA in 820 vs qHD in RAZR M) and a much smaller battery (1650mAh Nokia vs 2000mAh Motorola), as well as being bigger and thicker physically. Clearly can't compete with Moto's engineers.
Not to mention WP and not Android.
So every aspect will be worse in Nokia 820 compared to the quite obviously superior RAZR M :)

And no, no other Android device has this screen size in Samoled combined with that large battery on dual-core Krait or equally powerful quadcore. LG's 4X with completely different LCD has sligtly smaller battery and Tegra. Samsung's SIII - with the dimmest screen in a smartphone - has a much smaller battery and slightly larger screen and Exynos. Not to mention there will be a MAXX version of the RAZR HD. No one else comes close to this. AT&T exclusive Atrix HD also has smaller battery and LCD screen on same CPU/GPU.

Right, cause you've clearly tested both these phones already? The 920's camera may be slightly better, as Nokia usually tend to focus a bit more on that, but nothing more. Anyone who actully cares as much as nokia fanboys claim to, about camera, won't go for a camera without optical zoom anyways. Also, did you forget that the LCD Nokia won't give you clear blacks and great contrast as the RAZR HD's SAMOLED?
Over to speed. Did you really think it's the Android OS which is laggy? No, it's certain launchers who may lag. Even my many years old Milestone - now residing in the Philipines - had no lag running Android 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 on LauncherPro.
On my RAZR I use TSF launcher. Lag simply does not exist.
Did you perhaps also forget that the RAZR HD will have over 25 % more battery power? And the MAXX 50% more. As well as the more power efficient SAMOLED screen.
Motorola's are different from other androids in terms of build quality. Motorola has always shined here, and in all new RAZR they offer DuPont KEVLAR and Aluminium. In SW they offer us Webtop, Smart Actions, Motocast and a myriad of official Motorola accessories and docks. Check out the Lapdock, Smart Controller, HD Multimedia dock and speaker dock.

nice midranger, though there is billion with similar specs. I would rather choose 820 eventhough specswise it doesn't differ much, just seems bit more this date.

Awesome. All the additions to the Razr series are just off the hook. I'm officially a Moto fan again. Can't wait to get one. Keep up the good work Motorola.
