That's why they all like 8mps now.
(Off record they have been asking for 12mp for 2 years now)
Off record Samsung fans expected 12mp and a Mali-604 quad for the Note 2.
Publicly they say the overclocking the Mali-400 is
a great idea anyway and 8mp is still all you a should need. Go Samsung!
The Fans lap it up as the greatest and
more than what they ever wanted.

All phone manufacturers (except Samsung) sell phones equiped with 1GB ram. Why not 3GB ram ? Android is a 32 bit OS, should be optimized to use that much of ram memory. And ddr3 chips are not expensive. Also the barrier of 8MP should be breaked too. They have the technology, they own great sensors - but they want to sell expensive shells full of cheap components.

Last factory got closed this June. But at least they hung on the longest of the non-asian phone manufacturers
