      Galaxy S III October/November
      Galaxy S II November
      Galaxy S II LTE Q4 2012
      Galaxy S October/November 2012

Other devices won't get updates. Shame. They are fooling customers to buy Note II.

Anonymous, 12 Sep 2012is it not the case that any lte supported or 4g handset can... moreFor some phones that's true - like the difference between the One X and One XL. The thing is, Qualcomm's chipsets have LTE built-in, while Tegra/Exynos don't.

So for most phones, the maker just switches to a qualcomm chipset when they want to enable LTE, but Samsung has gone another way here and added a separate LTE modem.

If you hit the source, they have updated with more pics, one which clearly shows: "Qualcomm 4G", so its surely not the Exynos?

I have pre ordered this phone with optus in australia, it should be available on the 20th September. Quad core, LTE, and 2GB ram - best features from both the international 3g version and US LTE versions.

I live in Australia and am on the Optus network, I've been running an S3 for about 5 weeks now (unlocked international version) and yesterday I received an OTA update, the build is still saying 4.04 but a lot of the 4.1 features are now present, the brightness control in the notifications pull down, when I hold the power off button the layout is different and there are now more options. I was under the impression that these were Jelly Bean features?

is it not the case that any lte supported or 4g handset cannot be quadcore? but can only be dual core at the miniute because of hardware issues?....

i think so. so the above infor is incorrwect.

same as the htcone xl is only dual core for that reason..
