Aa well it doesn't require any subscription for that tracking to work. Also unlike a gps tracker this doesn't need constant power/ network/ subscription. Also there are reviews out there in youtube that proves smarttag is far superior in range and tracking than Apple's air(whatever), for say to use as anti theft device for a car or to track baggages.

So I ordered 2 devices to track my cats.
Apparently smartthings is supported by any android and lets you install and logon with google account but won't let you register the devices... even though samsung states works with android 8 and later ("connect to your android device").
Anyway, I have a samsung a52 from work which I've installed teamviewer host to, and use my zenfone6 to start teamviewer and see the trackers in samsungs smartthings shit-app.
If I would've known about Tile's tracker I would've bought them instead.

You can attach new remotes even to a car which has not one..

Once you loose your samsung account where the tags are registered... the tags become useless because you can NOT re-register them without un-registering. (it's like when you loose the car keys, you will need to buy a new car!)

I just bought one and I am disappointed because when I lost internet connection, i also loss my connection with the tag. The tag although it has a bluetooth but it cannot connect to your phone without internet. It is very much dependent on internet not like my Baseus T2 which is connected at all times.

Witch model of smart lamp such as brand works for residential automation? It is only Samsung products?

If it uses the "SmartThings" App, I fail to see how it can only be used on Samsung devices, anyone can download the app and connect Samsung devices.

then its no contest.
thats why the upcoming apple tile is also going to be super powerful - the entire apple userbase means you are sure to find your device.

In the conditions they said they reserved 400 for Ultra, 300 for Plus and 200 for Standard. And you have to register yourself after you receive the phone... What a fraud. Thats why I ordered my phone from Austria where everyone got the buds and the tag. Lucky I am austrian working in Romania, but the Romanians got screwed with that promotion...
