I really don't understand the hatred towards Huawei, but I guess I'll never understand the mentality of some people.
In the end there will just be Apple and Samsung and there will be absolutely zero innovation or value left.

My dollar is on Xiaomi. They have effectively done well capturing the global market and there's no stopping them

Can someone tell me why my comments are being deleted?

Is it because its political or what?
Well lemme tel yall that tech products are highly political especially in these age where authoritarian government can easily make spread their influence and goals through technology.

Especially with these kind of articles you cannot avoid bringing politics in to the topic.

[deleted post]The main reason is because Huawei simply can't buy components to manufacture phones. They have no 5g phones available to buy in China outside of limited oversubscribed flash sales

Uncle D, 05 Mar 2021Never seen Oppo in my country (in Western Europe)... Because they price it quiet higher. Xiaomi is great there because of great support for their devices on xda and that's what people want. Realme and One Plus is putting some kind of show as well in Europe. One Plus needs to curb their pricing somehow if they are not giving flagship experience in camera department. 48MP since three iterations is simply unacceptable. I hope they use snapdragon 775G instead of dimensity 1200 in their One Plus Nord successor.

Anonymous, 05 Mar 2021Looks like 60% of total sales were Honor. I hope Honor gets GMS and they develop stock android skin like Oxygen OS and launch phones with snapdragon processors all over the world.

Unfair is Life, 05 Mar 2021Oppo didn't surpass, Huawei fell.Yes. Oppo and Vivo have to make better phones to surpass Huawei. They haven't made yet.

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2021Only because Oppo have Google services, Huawei not. :(Google services are largely irrelevant in China.

It's because Huawei has sold Honor so Honor's sales are no longer included in Huawei's figures and Huawei is facing a component shortage due to US ban.

Oneplus (Oppo) - the coolest brand. Very well recognized in Europe. Almost no adware. Best freedom (easiest rooting on market and OTA).

Xiaomi - nice but heavy adware and malware preinstalled. Difficult to root (registration + waiting period).

Huawei - least freedom. No root possible. I will never have their device.

So if Oppo dominates like Huawei, I am sure that US will ban Oppo. I hate it to be like this.

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2021Wow, Realme outsells Samsung in China.Ofc. Those smartphone brands e.g., Realme, Oppo, Xiaomi and Vivo are relatively cheaper there compared to the global price.
