Anonymous, 11 Mar 2021Only rich people and tech reviewers care about macos. The r... moreThe entry level M1 Macs is so power efficient and value for money, that all laptops that compares to it in their level is smashed. That means all ultra books, LG gram included, or Dell XPS. People are comparing 15 inchers to gaming laptops to the M1 Macs! Which is unheard of.
But of course, people who goes under $700 can also pick the Mac Mini, which at this moment is the best value for money desktop machine now.
It can game, it can browse the web, it can do virtually everything other laptops can do. Except of course.. drawing with a pen.. or touching the screen.

xfrqnx, 11 Mar 2021How about on Windows ARM?M1 Macs is the fastest consumer device running Windows ARM now.
And that's comparing native ARM products, vs M1 running in virtualise environments like Parallels.
And given Windows Arm can emulate x86 and x86_64 programs, plus MacOS x86_64 + Arm + iOS iPad apps. It makes M1 Macs the macs that run the most applications now. And its very fast and very power efficient.
