I'm not being sarcastic, genuine question as my experience with Samsung watches is very limited. For someone such as myself who values the ability to install apps designed for WearOS (of which there seems to be a greater selection) is there any benefit to Tizen that would make it worth reconsidering?

Having had a few Samsung watches and being forced to use their sms app etc. Is a pain.
Would like apps to be able to interact with alerts.
Need to get Samsung on Google os for watchs to help progress the platform and help unifi things.
Also sounds like Google are finally making an effort with updated tiles.
Positive move if true.

I had the Active 2 LTE version. Although it comes with all the bells and whistles ,it fails dismally when it comes to battery life . I am using the Huawei GT 2 Pro , it looks good , feels good ,the health app is far superior to Samsung ,it even measures weight on a Huawei scale by BT. Samsung need to up their game . Oh, the GT pro battery lasts for 10 days .

Sailfish OS phone only. No Google even on TV or fridge. I know that Tizen is not much better but still something else.

Chances are you're already carrying a "Google Spyware" like you call it, or rather any sort of "Spyware", adding another device should be the least of your concerns

If you want to compete with apple watches, you will definitely need wear OS, let's keep tizen for fridges for now, until apple decides to enter fridge markets.

not as good as the original gear watch with cam able to transfer pics whilst you are out good idea it was but they never pursued further
