Weekly poll: six new Nokia phones are up for consideration

HMD unveiled two phones for each of the X-series (5G), G-series (affordable 4G) and C-series (Android Go Edition).

I'd pay them to refurb my nokia 8 (2017) with a new battery and give it 2 more years of updates. Everything they've released since then has been inferior in one or more ways.

Nokia was a company that s... moreSense was htc's selling point for years,lots of folk really liked it, folk LOVED boomsound, so, HTC killed them both off, build quality still there, but their pricing ideas have proved fatal, if hmd don't change, they will quickly follow HTC.
        Htc's biggest problem was being from tiawan, China was never going to make life easy for HTC.!!!

          Starting to look like another HTC, except HTC managed 15 years before folding, hmd gone in less than 10 years, trying the same idea, well made mid spec priced high, it's not worked for HTC, it won't work for hmd either... I don't care how good an sd480 has got now, it's still very limited in comparison, I'm sure a few dollars more could buy something a lot better, but at least it will always work, if only slowly..

            Please go and buy phones you expect.. from your favourite Chinese who eye candy you with specs..

            Nokia phones are meant to be for certain set of people and clearly not for gsmarena commentors who comments like they had owned phone businesses earlier.

            Don't comment bad about Nokia without using (not exploiting) Nokia. All my list of Nokia devices from Symbian to windows to S40 to s30 to Android.. all works well till date..

            Go get a life than bashing Nokia for your expectations based on Chinese offerings. Who are you to decide how they need to manufacture. It is what they can offer. Try it else leave it. I try their phones and as per my usage even low end Android Nokia rocks it.

              What do you do with phone. U less u r wasting ur time and resources with somebody earned money, you won't do anything other than below..

              Call

              Sms

              IM

              Mail

              Video calls

              Browse

              Take pics to remember memories even if it if a vga or 5mp cam. (These artificial memories created only useful for social media. You won't feel that past when you see those artificial created memories for showoff your quad camera)

              Better camera for scanning bills or documents

              Listen music, video (if stress releaf needed)

              One or two day battery. If battery charges slow then only you don't exploit battery life by wasting time infront of screen. Just plug it to a 5w charger for overnight charging, take 100% filled phone at morning and use it for these purposes until dusk.

              These things can be performed great by even a low end Nokia Android device. Even C3 or 2.4

              Currently I'm using my Nokia 6.1 as rotation and circulated other Nokis within family

U can make a phone with usb type b cable at flagship rate also. What components or what specs doesn't matter.. Only how it works matters.

                  i'm just so sorry that these nokia products are insufficient for the unquenchable indian market from what i can tell. :(

                                  I left my nokia 8 to get the moto g 5g plus as a cheap 5G option
                                  I hate it.... i hate the stupid huge screen.

                                    I could consider 1 of the Xphones. If it was 250€.
                                    Also the sizes of these things are ridiculous. All I'm asking is a phone with max 6 inch display.
                                    Decent specs and a reasonable price. Is it so hard to make?

                                      All the phone are OK specswise and the prices are not so bad. But why they should be such big?

                                        Wake up people and go for Samsung or Xiaomi or OnePlus. Nokia Sony HTC Motorola LG Huawei Lenovo... Forget about all of them.
