Guys, I need opinion. I am looking to get a gaming PC so should I get these colorful "iMac with M1"? I mean, since they cost starting from $1299, they should atleast allow 1440p kr even 1080p gameplay right? "iMac with M1" would be a piece of junk if it can't so that. Opinions and suggestions are welcome

At first I thought it was ugly, but then it grew on me. And reminded how I missed white bezels. :\

That's the whole point; with the new M1 architecture, essentially the entire chassis behind the screen is empty and Apple and Timmy in their infinite wisdom found that the only way they could express themselves was to go retro with the snazzy color schemes, instead of creating a truly modern design and finally eliminate that god-awful chin. Most folks were expecting something like the Pro Display XDR, but I personally knew Apple design would always underwhelm and under deliver. Their stubborn love affair with ugly designs is truly beyond baffling!

Magnetically attached power cord with no internal battery is a recipe for disaster, I would imagine.

There is nothing wrong with having a wishlist, not that I implied such either but it's a good thing you said " cool looking device that could have its uses " as cool things are meant to have their uses and enjoyment made use of because a collection just doesn't cut it when we talk about the excitement factor.
