One of the reason contributing to Apple raise in Q1 2021 is because Apple late introduction of the 2020's model. So, the sales were in Q1 2021 instead of Q4 2020.... Furthermore, the 2020 model is the first one with 5G. So, there's a pent up demand. Otherwise Apple market share will going down.

Xiaomi honest price product really make Xiaomi shine, and got 60% more sales.

Xiaomi really took the storm the education (student) market. Lots of teenager and 20's 30's years old using Xiaomi now.

They increased their sales by lowering the price of the new technology. Both Samsung and Apple followed this strategy and their mobile phones become accessible to many more users.

Apple's target group was mostly rich/famous and highly educated people with some degree of career. By creating a new segment, they created a new target group and they came up with a new product, the S12 Vanilla, for normal people.
They didn't HAVE to do that but the competition started taking share from that target group and apple did not want to be absent.

There are so many variables on how a company places a price on its product.
What price would you place on your new product and what factors would you have taken into account ?

From my point of view, the winner is BBK group. It doesnt matter it splits its products to differrent brands, its still the owner of Oppo, Vivo, Realme, Oneplus.. Perfect strategy to be No.1 maker.
