Should be used with newer Snapdragon nice it's a beat Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra iPhone 12 Pro Max iPhone 13 Pro max cameras but how will it compare to Sony Xperia 1 iii cameras?

You still see this as a smartphone, but you need to see this as a device wíth smartphone functionalities. And from that point of view no other device can do the same at the moment.

Perhaps look at the specs first before writing stories like this... It has a completely different 5g architecture..

I know what this device is intended for, still it is a smartphone which over priced and expensive.

vrvly, 08 May 2021All I know is that you can connect to camera with all phone... moreI'm not 100% sure about it, but I highly doubt any other phone (other than Sony Xperia Pro & 1 II & maybe upcoming III) can receive an HDMI or any other video input via type-C.
They sure could do a video out, but that's been a thing since Nokia's N-series iirc.
Now don't tell me u can use x,y,z app for same functionality.
Also this is a product with a very narrow target audience, so I doubt most of them would be comparing it to a foldable.

From what I see they missed the launch opportunity last year, bringing phone you know about for an entire year now, which is laughable in mobile industry where changes occur on month basis. Would buyer feel better if he buys such product priced as breakthrough tech on the lvl of foldable...

You can make phone calls with it, you can take photos on the go. Bút you can connect this one to your mirrorless or videocamera with a HDMI-cable, making it a external monitor with a 4K resolution, mmWave 5G capabilities for direct broadcasting worldwide, and in the same time use it as a powerbank, etc. Which manufacturer, Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO etc can do the same. None of them. People should really read the white paper about this phone, because all they see is "Sony" and "Price = $2500,-".

A lot of phones this year feel like next gen only in the name, while adding and removing some features.
To actually bring real next gen product, we probably got to wait for huawei and xiaomi. So boring.
