SD 780 has Adreno 642 which is 2 to 3 times faster than Mali G57 mp5 in dimensity 820.
SD 780 has newer cortex A78 while dimensity 820 has cortex A76.
By Huge margin sd 780 is better soc. Sd 780 can hold even against Dimensity 1000+ with G77 mp9.

Basically more benchmark manipulations by Smartphone Companies. There should be stricter bans, maybe even exemplary fines by regulators.

The 800u is stronger than the 765 and 768 in graphics and thermal performance
In fact qualcomms new 780 is directly due to their being no answers at the time to the dimensity 820 which was the strongest midrange chipset worldwide in 2020

Qualcomm has already lost in market share, mediatek is now the biggest chipset manufacturer
Qualcomm was so defeated they released 3, 7 series in one year and they all were horrible performers
Meditek buried them with the dimensity 820 and Qualcomm had no answer for months until they FINALLY released the 780 to catch up
Thank God for MediaTek because the fanboys keep supporting Qualcomm with their 10% yearly upgrades chipsets ,competition has Qualcomm sweating

So you cant even compare with snapdragon, unisoc and mediatek with it. Apple dont allow these 3 to run IOS and M1 wont run Android so they dont have fair ground to compare anything. And every year all the chip makers will come out with the most powerful chip they have ever made up to date.

M1 is awesome because deep integration between its SoC with its Bespoke iOS.
I doubt M1 in Android or Windows will run as fast as M1 in iOS.
But Samsung have prep their M1, the upcoming Exynos with AMD graphics are apparently design to run both Android gadget (Smartphone, tablet) and Windows Laptops.
