Jhow Jpim, 19 May 2021What is better xiaomi poco x3 or Poco M3 Pro 5GIf you are referring to the Poco X3 NFC, just take into consideration that Poco will discontinue the model (if I am not mistaken).
Besides, the Poco X3 Pro is around the same price, but it's better.
To answer your question, Poco X3 Pro is the best option from this three right now. Unless, you definitely need 5G support. Imo, is just a gimmick. At least now.
Also, there is no "future proofing" with this cheap Poco phones. You buy it usually for 1-2 years, then change it with the next model. So, no need to think now at 5G support.

All talk about camera, its a phone. What about bands? What about native auto call recording? What about call audio quality? What about network reception? What about battery time?

Will Xiaomi use cheap Tianma or TCL displays again? So the bottom portion of the display barely works?

I had better experience all around with Realme phones (Realme 6, Realme 7 Pro) than with Xiaomi phones (Redmi Note 8 Pro, Poco X3 NFC, Poco F3). But Xiaomi phones give more "bang for the buck" (at least on paper). Also, their software arrives a little faster.

Ok, they are still using MiUi software from Xiaomi, but in my country they already separated them. In Xiaomi part you will find Xiaomi phones + Redmi phones and separately there are Poco phones now. Up until last year they were all together under Xiaomi brand.
It will be curious to see how long before Poco will eventually be fully independent and they will create their own UI. Price wise they are the best from the three (at least in my country). Quality they are so so (depends on your luck).

Many complaining about software updates, but imo thats minor thing. Android updates around 2-3 years are mostly cosmetic. Except there is a grave bug on current version, the updates may not bring any benefit. Battery, display, graphic and sound quality will be the ~same. Security improvement and mem management maybe, but we may never know what is it.
