It looks better than I thought so I might consider it if its the only Nexus device. If there is only a 8GB version f*** that I'm keeping my GNex. It's 32 GB or nothing.

Smallish internal memory? Probably it would rely mostly on cloud service. 'Got a nexus s, 11 gb of it's internal memory is still untouched. Still the phone is still to big for my taste.. Love the display though! =)

Shouldn't they have compared it to it's nearest rival, the Galaxy S3 rather than an old iPhone?

This is exactly why I'm upset with Google, They let Samsung make a Nexus and it gets a below par camera to keep it from competing with Samsung's Galaxy line, now LG are is restricting memory to keep it from competing with their Optimus line.
Google is not gonna make a truly high end Nexus until they have better control of its specs. What I dont understand is why they dont let Motorola make it, they already own Moto and can use that ownership to make sure the best parts go into the phone. Moto's Razr line already uses near stock ICS and their build quality is superb. Just put a quad core Krait instead of that horrid Intel and that would be a beautiful Motorola Nexus

Is Google stupid enough to put only 8 GB memory without SD card slot? If that's pure LG's decision, no wonder.

if the 8GB storage limit would be the only choice for this device then it's already dead before even announcing it..what in the world can we do with a 8GB storage for phone? but i don't think google would do something as ridiculous as that...i bet it would atleast have a 16 or 32GB versions...there's no way a flagship phone would only have an 8GB storage, unless it would have a micro sd slot...

8gb without expandable slot seems a bit unbelievable to me. It would be stupid even for Google to agree upon such a device...

This is a no buy for me,even if the final version had 16gb storage it's still not enough.Not to mention that nexus phones need 3~4 months to be available in my country,the nexus 7 for example isn't yet available here(3.5 months passed)

No removable battery means no battery pull possible when ROM freezes. Gonna be difficult as a developer device, with which you test new firmwares in Aplha stages.
Except it'll get a hardreset button.
And why is the LED flashlight framed instead of the lens?

I was excited about this phone, but seeing as there's only 8gb internal storage so far, I won't be wasting my money on that.

Fine, limit the Nexus compared to 4x, for some dumb reason, but why this much? At least they could have given 16GB. With 8, they should have brought SD slot.

My old SE W995 had 8GB and I never used more than 4 now I have 16GB and still 12 free so I do not think it is a big deal for many of us.
This days you have a new phone every year or 2 and we do not carry all the media with us.
