Pointless, lame and boring.
So, they have so little originality that they even copy themselves?
Clearly overpriced and boring. For far less you get an XperiaP with better screen, 8mpx camera with xmorR sensor with great light sensitivity and a much fresher design.
Oh, and by the way, the P Is several months old.
This galaxy is nothing than a poor excuse of a high end phone only bought by people who can't afford the normal one. Not worthy of the galaxy SIII moniker or the title of "high end"

HTCs fast declining revenue and even faster declining profit speaks a universal language: their phones do not work.

For people complaining about the price, Do you remember when Ace 2 and Mini 2 were announced? They were announced with a heavy price tag. When they got released and became sold in stores, there was a good drop in their price.
But, this is a slight upgrade from the S Advance, chipset is almost identical, the S advance and SIII Mini will get/have Android 4.1 respectively, the camera is the same, etc...
The only things I like compared to S advance is that S III mini has 1GB of ram compared to 768MB on S advance (not a big difference), supports HTML5.
Dont wait, get the S advance if you want a phone with the exact same screen, and sells for a bit more than something like Xperia Go as an example. S advance is really awesome!

OMG, this is dirty business. Demand for smaller high end units says samsung, but where is the high end unit? I see a high end price and a few software specials, and midrange specs with a lowrange screen resolution. The entry level $270 Xperia J has higher resolution 4 inch screen (FWVGA), and it is not pentile (= much higher perceived resolution).
If any Samsung fanboy come and tell us now how evil Apple is to make so high profit on their products becoz of their name after this... Backfired, didnt it? Tell us again how evil and greedy apple is now? Lower midrange at $480, how evil is that?

Samsung is positioning this device in the S3 family based in software specs, not hardware specs. Remember that when they launched the S3 they made it very clear that features like S Voice and Smart Stay will remain exclusive to their flagship devices. You may not like it, feel cheated that instead of doing a firmware upgrade to your old device they launched a phone with the same hardware but with the new software features, but it's a valid strategy from Samsung (although Apple might sue them for copying their strategy of launching same the iPhone 4 with Siri and calling it an iPhone 4S). If they succeed or not, time will tell.

name is misleasing though best specs at best price i think, until now happy with sony ericsson live with walkman on official ics, android is the best in midranges while lumia midranges cannot even run angry birds and wp 8 which is quite like android with no widgets nd live wallpapers and mulyitasking needs dual core to run lol people wake up do not be fooled! btw ace plus and xperia 2011 will enjoy full smooth jb while lumia 900 won't get wp8 lol

I do. I had a Motorola Defy and an HTC One S. I'm pretty happy now with my Lumia 900, it rocks.

They didn't. The lumia 920 optics wasn't done at the moment they did the footage. BTW, there's nothing in the video saying they took it with a Lumia 920. It's just a simulation of the technology, every single manufacturer does the same with their products. Don't be so naive.

Oh yeah, you're right... Nokia phones are cheap built, I can clearly see it when I compare the built quality of my lumia with the plastic GS3... And yeah, Samsung factories are the best place on earth to work, as you can see right below:

and....they organised an event to launch this piece of ****, sammy are just doing what nokia used to do in its prime time, release new phones with minor tweaks everyday...! god knows what market they are targetting with this dumb phone, only selling point for this will be to reduce the price within £200.00 after a month of release date...!
