I use my phones for a long time and it's very wasteful to upgrade just because of a small incremental update like a little faster than this, a little more bigger than this, a little more megapixel, etc. That's why high refresh rate is still not available for all because they are still reserved for premium phones. 90Hz is now starting to be available on mid phones but I don't consider it as high enough refresh rate. It will be my reason for my next upgrade so it's not a gimmick for me like most of us. How can it be a gimmick if it improves the screen and you look and use your screen 99% of the time. HMS is more like a gimmick for the users who already have GMS. Or it is more like omitting feature.

I have a 120 Hz display but I... moreI bet you are one of those that still uses an 1080p monitor or TV with 60hz refresh rate and says that 4K is just a gimmick. LoL. On my S21 Ultra the battery last 20 hours with 2K and 120 turned on. You can stick with your 60hz and let other enjoy the full potential of their phones and what they paid for. Not everyone lives in the stone age like you.

I just hope the harmonyOS upgrade wont brick GMS on phones, and if it does they better warn users prior to install... :|

I have a 120 Hz display but I never use it, it just drain the battery more, all acting like is a life changing thing, yeah haha, for the battery, it lasts less. Stop with this bullcrap about this useless battery drainer feature haha, you are all ridiculous. I'm tired of all you "experts" making it a matter of life and death.

Lol, did you hear that that the Entire OS is rebranded Android OS with EMUI Skin? Did you see the iOS icons throughtout the videos/photos?
They copied everything and you are giving them Innoavtive Pass? Seamless connection can be done thu so many other apps.. if u wanna bootlick them then do it, but I aint buying over priced trash which isnt HDR10 certified and behind competition + full copcat

How about the functionality of the OS where you can share seamlessly across devices (including IoT) running on huawei/harmony service? Soon you will see your beloved Apple and Samsung copy it, then you will say they are the one who have those functionalities first.

Lol wallpaper & dock looks like a copy, icons are copied , design copied. Looks like a combined copy of ipad and Samsung tab. Great job huawei.

high refresh rate on phones were never gimmicks.
they make the user experience extremely smooth.
never a gimmick, it was always needed on such high-priced flagships.
even the redmi note 10 pro, basically a near-flagship experience screen. it's so smooth.
HRR was never gimmicks, gamers and people who love smoothness on their phones love them, including me.
