Are you kidding me? O.o i am using this Update S5360DDLF1 since a month via.O.T.A! i am waiting for the further software update.
Hoping to be enrolled with a new OS update :-P

guys keep patience...cause update dues with the variation of the region...all the region will get the update but it may vary with time...just wait and keep checking....and checking

I have a samsung galaxy y with o2.When i read this i immeadetley updated it but it says no updates available. Plese tell me when its avaliblale for the united kingdom. Please reply soon thanks

I hav already updated it from service centre now baseband version is s5360DDLF1 shown on my cell,and few changes are improoved battery life,improoved lockscreen,smoother user interface and a little more-its my own experiance,welldone sammy, love it!

But I still have to give them credits, at least they've released an update for their top selling low-end device. How many OEM's today give updates to there low-end devices?
And about the KLP, I still have hopes that android would make an OS (maybe or maybe not the KLP) that could possibly run on low-end devices.
FACT about OS'es: When Vista came, most people hated it because of its slow performance, heavy usage of memory and most low specs computers cant even run it and stayed on XP. But when Win7 was release, it was like a relief on most PC owners. It is more memory efficient, much smoother than Vista.
P.S. Dont talk like a PRO! Include yourself as one of the nubs online.

This is toy phone. I got the Y and it has so many problems, but I suppose for the price you have to accept it is far from perfect. So good for Samsung but just remember this is a throw away phone in a few years.

ARMv6 devices with at least the Adreno 200 can technically run ICS & above but the Galaxy Y will never ever recieve any working ICS build (even unofficially) since Broadcom never released the kernel driver sources for the VideoCore VI GPU.
