Also, if you're buying a Mac with the intention to run Windows, you deserve to get a buggy device with a processor that has to run everything in software emulation Good luck getting business support for that or any other type of support.

Yeah PC for all. Apparently Windows almost forgot about supporting 7th gen Intel core chips. Requires TPM module when not all PCs have this. There are many bugs in Windows 10 and Microsoft have rolled back several updates.

damn, what a bunch of whiners... 1. if you want to know if you can install win11 just go here: microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-11#pchealthcheck . pay attention: they seem to keep modifying the os in order to cover other systems too. 2. after accessible for downloading just back-up your system, install the new win, keep it if up to your needs and preferences or go back if not.

Everything is unobtainable because everyone is buying computers and components. This artificial pushing of new hardware to run Windows 11 will not win over anyone. Especially not people who have Ryzen 1800X and are suppose to buy new system because Microsoft said so. Heh. If Apple did that I'd sort of understand it, they designed their entire chipset, rewrote whole OS around it and still kept supporting Intel based Macs. Microsoft literally only makes their own OS and dictates dumb decisions. I know you're suppose to drop older hardware at some point, but what Microsoft is doing is just ridiculous and makes absolutely no sense.

So windows 11 supports useless CPUs like Intel atom from 2018, but doesn't support anything before 8th gen core series even though they have TPM 2? What an absolute joke. This is planned product obsolescence and I hope someone calls them out.

Buddy, you can use Windows / Linux and MacOS on Mac :) Parallels / UTM. All are official means to use Windows / Linux MacOS on a Mac.
The one without choice is PC. Thats why no matter how bad Windows is.. no one can move away from it.. because they have no choice hahaaa. They can hackintosh it.. but the risk and the non official means means its less then a good daily driver.

This dumb decision to put in place these ridiculous requirements pushed me to venture into Linux realm once more and looks like I'll be migrating 2 of my 3 systems to Kubuntu. ASUS Transformer would benefit from Windows 11 the most because of touch improvements they made, but it's not eligible because of old CPU, not enough RAM and no TPM even though it's running Windows 10 just fine for what I need it. And another laptop with Ryzen 5 2500U which has all the required things, including TPM 2.0 yet Microsoft decided to just sack it because reasons. Only my desktop with Ryzen 5800X will go with Windows 11 because it's from last year and it's for gaming mostly. To my luck, Kubuntu 21.04 sorted out a lot of things old one had broken, particularly touch on Transformer which now works really well. Awesome decision to alienate 2/3 of your userbase Microsoft. Whoever came up with these ridiculous requirements deserves a raise. Not.
