I can go into any Mi store and get it repaired. Which country are you from? Are you living in some jungle where there are no repair shops?

They declare the item less price to escape from customs. Go buy one if you don't believe and then we can shove that 1 July rule up your "you know what". I bet you won't coz you stuck on someone 200$ Chinese phone

Neither giztop or tradingshenzen have the Mi 11 ultra available to ship from EU warehouse, so EU new rules 1 July 2021 will apply respect to VAT and you eventually might have to pay custom fees depending on your country too. Seems like you guys are the ones that talk without knowing the rules and the law. Inform yourselves. What i said before, still valid. Banggood also applying VAT now. All the stores will follow, it's a matter of time.

You are way too triggered to have a discussion about some device. Seems like you are the kids not me. If you can't have a respectful discussion without calling names to other people or telling to shut up, there's no sense in continuing this. I stop here.

Saved some 250€. The S21 Ultra never felt worth the 1250€ price that I paid for it.
Xiaomi phone ended up being 250€ cheaper than its European pricing of 1200€ but I wouldn't have hesitated to pay 1200€ for Mi 11 Ultra over 1000€ for S21 Ultra.

Giztop offered me two year warranty. Nobody has to send phones back to China.
They all get repaired here in Europe.

About 4K, it's a fact about technology. That's how tech evolves. The fact that it has a 20mpx front camera and it only does 1080p is a let down.

Software OneUI in Samsung is better, more polished, less intrusive, less third party apps, less ads.
Plus, yes update years do count. What assurances do you have from Xiaomi that you'll have support for the years to come? Yes i've played with miui 12.5 in several occasions. It's good but but didn't impress me.
But also support in repairs if you need it. Support in warranty. No? If you buy a Mi 11 Ultra in Europe imported from China what kind of support will you have if you need repair? ah right...you'll spend 1000 in a phone that you'll have to send to China when you need...
With Samsung every retailer, every shop can repair your phone, have tons of accessories, cases etc that counts too you know? Normal buyers want simplicity, easy of use, no hassle, no worries, fast and easy accessible support. Xiaomi isn't there yet. And if you buy it in Europe, let's say from Amazon (which is not easy to find in stock) you'll pay the play 1200 at least last time i checked. S21 Ultra is around 1000 in Amazon brand new, 200 cheaper. Think again. Who'll buy a 1200 Xiaomi vs a 1000 Samsung flagship?...right....

Bodygard, 12 Jul 2021Is it much better? It has some advantages but also some dis... moreDo you even have the MI 11 Ultra?
Why would I shoot 4k from front camera when I can use the camera on the back?

All video chat applications stream at 1080p or lower. FaceTime just got 1080p video update few months back, so much for iPhone's front camera being 4k.

Software is better on Samsung based on what? Gsmarena recently reviewed the MI 11 with miui 12.5, they said it was the smoothest experience on any phone they have used in the past. Have you even used miui 12.5? Pretty sure you have not. What support are you talking about? 'x' number of years of updates? Lol you want bragging rights?

Except geeks, everyone would prefer S21 Ultra? What about this phone will turn off the non-geeks?

You guys need to stop relying on youtubers alone who test these phones on pre release software and make conclusions about the phones based on that.

S21 Ultra had consistency issues as well when it was released. their zoom performance improved over the months as well, which wasn't that good initially.
You guys need to understand that majority of these Youtubers who concluded S21 Ultra to be more consistent than Mi 11 Ultra in camera comparisons were using an S21 Ultra with 3 months of software updates while mi 11 Ultra was running pre release software.

Also consistency meant if S21 Ultra with post release optimized software got 90/100 images right, Mi 11 Ultra with pre release software got 85/100 images right. Now after both getting software updates, they are around the same as far as consistency goes.

i0S.- Never.- Again, 12 Jul 2021If Samsung S21 Ultra Exynos can be priced 1250 Euros in Eur... moreIs it much better? It has some advantages but also some disadvantages. It has a better camera but it's not as consistent as S21 ultra camera. A lot of times you have to take 2 or 3 shots until it gets it right. Yes it has a very good 67W fast charge but it lacks 4k in the front camera like the S21 ultra. It has infrared port but the usb-c port is still the archaic 2.0 standard unlike 3.2 in the S21 ultra. How is it better overall? Not to mention the support and software are better in the Samsung. Apart from geeks, anyone will prefer an S21 ultra instead of a Mi 11 Ultra.

Atleast you can remove that on miui. What about Google ads? You don't want to complain about that?

Most middle class people are buying these phones with increased budgets. I see Samsung S21s and iPhones everywhere now. Problem is, when you buy a costly MI phone.. you will have to use it until it dies... whereas Samsung has very good resale value. You can buy a phone for 70k.. use it for 2 years and sell it for 30k easy. S10 plus were selling for that price in used market in January. But when you buy a Mi phone and unbox it.. you lose half the value instantly
