Personally I think it is because of the Android 11 restriction.

JUST installed this update a minute ago on my Redmi Note 8 Pro and the phone restarted BUT it was really hot to the touch and warning message came up saying the phone is over heating and it's not even running any apps

I hate miui and it got worse. No apps, that really important work fine any more. Cant even set wallpaper any more. What a crap. My xiaomis are for sale. Never again!

Silent/dnd countdown timer is removed. Also it has an anoing charger conection sound that can't be removed. "Great features"
