Maybe the cooperation with OnePlus will change Mediatek's long-time corporate policies and bring us a much needed competitor in this space. However, history in not on Mediatek's side -- it's not their first rodeo, we've been in this position many years back, and it culminated with Mediatek claiming NDAs over GPL code. You've read that right, there's a corporation so tone deaf and full of it to even dare enforcing NDAs over code that *must* be public.

Oneplus phones are known to have good custom ROM support like Lineage OS. This phone is first phone which is coming with Mediatek processor, will it have same custom ROM support as Mediatek doesn't share too much documentation about their processors.

Oneplus only wins than Poco F3 in charging, Main camera, and software. The rest is won by Poco F3, and it is noticeable, but not significant better
