Anonymous, 30 Oct 2012Gsmarena, dont call 'phablet' at 5" screen device..its... moreAgree 100%. Its likely the SGS4 will be 5", i think the so called "phablet" range is 5.3" to 6" but this is really getting squeezed.

Really you will end up with big phones up to 6" and small tablets from 7" and the word phablet will disappear (hopefully).

Whether you like it or not the Sino comapanies, part of the Asian sphere of mobile technical innovations will prosper alongside Samsung, HTC and LG. 10 years ago people didnt care about samsung and only cared about nokia and blackberry, look at who the big shot is today. I seriously doubt that losing your custom is giing to be a dent on anyone's company portfolio.

It may have a quad core like the big boys, but the fact is that these brands, Huawei, Oppo, Meizu, ZTE and others lack the experience needed in phone manufacturing. You may be impressed by the low price on a device packed with the latest specs, but you shouldn't be that impressed. They will have a ton of issues, and you won't need that. Maybe in 1 or 2 years, Chinese phone manufacturers will raise their level on the area that concerns us the most: the quality.

5" is more closer to 4.8" 'phones' than 5.5" phablets
then why is this in d latter category?
and butterfly is just a phone despite its more than phablet resolution and hardware?

I think it is written 5 inch screen HD on the presentation picture, so I suppose the screen is HD resolution.
