Smartwatches are hugely overhyped. Samsung's Active 3 and 2 are currently supposed to be the best Android Smartwatches today and they are so poor in features, performance and stability that one wonders how people buy them except for jewelry. They overheat (or report overheating) a lot, I myself (and not alone) have this problem and it persists even after sent repeatedly at Samsung Service for repairs. ECG and Blood Pressure are a joke, they need calibration every months or so, I am wondering if they use the sensors or just an algorithm over the values input by the user ...regardless they are not reliable. Making a running exercise with GPS, Cellular Data on and listening some music will drain battery in less than 1hour of use (depending on the cellular signal) if the watch does not overheat first and you loose all recorded data. Not to mention all Samsung garbage, such as Bixby instead of GAssistant, SamsungPay instead of GPay, and so on. Wasted money imho.

google assistant and google maps are good additions. one other major weakness was battery life. hope they extended it to 5-6 days. is there still no ECG? apple gave this feature 2-3 years ago.

JohnNy L, 28 Jul 2021Tizen OS & Bada OS has always been a major #Flop !!Tizen was not a major flop because Samsung watches out sold the wear OS watches which were terrible. Now Google has teamed up with Samsung wear OS should be much better

JohnNy L, 28 Jul 2021Tizen OS & Bada OS has always been a major #Flop !!Sorry but no. I use Tizen since Gear S3 Frontier and it's a blast. The only downside now on my Galaxy Watch 3 Titanium is that the battery life is inferior as my previously S3 Frontier and I truly hope that will me improved here, otherwise I won't even look :p

But will the GPS work without a phone? And how about Google pay? Can it measure altitude, like gear s3?

                        Good move Samsung
