[deleted post]Exactly these people want us to not count sales of laptops above the base price of MacBook to filter out other brands and skew statistics in favor of MacBook.
When you present them with an option at base price of MacBook, they'll argue its in bigger screen category or thicker.
When you present option at same price of MacBook,and same thickness, screen size...they'll argue... Oh it consumes more watts, narrow down your results to sub 35W laptops... Again to skew statistics in favor of MacBook.
That's how they come to the conclusion that "MacBook is best laptop you can buy" , by classifying it into a super niche category
Their goal is to make MacBook look good by eliminating most other windows laptops on some grounds/criteria.
The reality is that laptops are like cars. You can't just eliminate 75% of the car sales because they were below a certain price or they didn't fit Junior's category of choice. All those other people, driving those cars and extremely happy with them.

And what is there for me to run for? Not only did you provide not a single drop of evidence to disprove what I said, you guys actively run and move goalposts when new apple products come out.
For example, you constantly flaunt how android has superior specs, yet when apple released a superior-specced laptop for the price range(M1 macbook air), you guys move the goalposts to windows OS, which is so called "superior"(and if it's so superior, the mac can run windows too).

From 12 - 15 watt and beyond it cant compete. Now an M1 in tablet is heavily throttled so it cant even do the above, it will equal A14. YEs the M1 is a little revolution but only in Imac and macbook pro. And then still one can ask themselves why do i want a perfrmance macbook - imac with a 10 watt processor? ? Why not go for a 25 ADM intel beast that is twice as fast yes and twice as fat and halve the battery live , but still WAY more powerfull, i will sign for this last option to get work done. I dont like all these ultra flat devices

And yes, 5W battery charging has 1/4 of the degration as 20W charging, its just that charging technology has improved enough. That was 10 years.
On the other hand, you can't decrease battery degradation by 3x in like 2 years.

that is nice if true. i'd rather have old unlaminated 10.2 design plus a14, rather than 10.5 air 3/pro laminated design with white spot issues, which apple didn't bother to fix.

Their base line mac is $900 now, only $100 more than the $800 baseline iPad pro. And if you add in the keyboard and pencil, they're the exact same price.
Ok, so greed may have 50% to do with it, but the other 50% is because apple wants iPads and macs to be unique devices with different uses.

Ofcourse , this leakster has ok - ok track record so it maybe 50 - 50% maybe the new ipads are 10.5 inch with A14 ( Earlier it was rumored to me A13 ) with same chassis , it means bezel will be redesigned but we are not sure.

oMZIG - I am not sure , i read another blog on anoher website claming this very same japanese blogger has spoken of classic Ipad ( 9th Gen.) with same chassis , size (10.2) , but only difference being A14 Bionic instead of A12 now. ( Can confirm only on 14th september ).
Only we dont know if there is front & back camera upgrades rest all is same.
