JohnnyHart, 31 Jul 2021Bands, baby. I'm in the US.Always been Leary about getting a Realme or Xiaomi because of the bands. But I would love to have one, TBH I think they are the former OnePlus offering good devices for good price. OnePlus did go back to that with the Nord.

I have a OnePlus Nord and very pleased with it's performance. Screen brightness leaves a little to be desired but it's ok, 765g does the job well. But your right about the security updates, much better with iOS and I see why people stick with iphones but they're just not my thing. That's why I prefer a Google phone or android one phone. I have a LG G7 one that I still love to this day, security updates quickly.

I'm actually happy for them and I can say that every oneplus phone I had and and still have gave me a unique experience. At start their prices are over priced but just like the oneplus 9 pro when it first came out was over 1,000 and now you can buy new 256gb for 900 and possibly less depending on where you are.
if there's one thing I'll pick on its the battery life which to me seems to burn faster than should.
the camera improvements with Hasselblad made a huge difference compared to my oneplus 8 pro

Huawei was the most advanced Chinese tech company with a huge amount of 5g patents and also the only Chinese company that designed their own chips. They were a threat to US tech dominance. The other Chinese brands don't really have any core tech so they don't really pose any threat at the moment
