Anonymous, 14 Aug 2021I like the status bar "chip" far more than the bubble.I hear you man but like many other people, I found the call bubbles extremely useful, and losing them was a big disappointment. They should have at least left it as an option in the settings for those who want it to enable it. The call chip is so annoying to me it makes me want to revert back to Android 11.

This is future ? Android 12 ui makes me beg Microsoft to bring back their windows phones. That was so cool . Even after dearh windows phone os seems more futuristic than these ios and Android os

Looks cool. Before complaining remember that this is stock UI so skinned android will look much better.

I agree, Android 12 looks like it was designed by Fisher Price.
I'm guessing its all that Samsung influence because their interface design has always looked childish to me - though this is something else.
And that's before we get to those bizarre and hideous themed icons that turn all the Google apps monochrome but leave everything else colourful - awful.

Ugly design. Google needs to amp up their UI design, and focus their prioties not on redisigning just for the fun of' but instead redisign with a real idea of usefulness behind.
Even better : enable theming in Android ? In 2021 there is still NO real official theming in Android.

I also have to say that touch precision on android devices has declined.
At times it really makes me go nuts cause all those mistaps never happened on older devices

And Google have their priorities totally wrong
