Plastic back I could do with a film and a cover
but IP53 rating on Xiaomi but dust still penetrates camera lenses, cameras fail to auto focus, that doesn't happen on Realme or Oppo (or any BBK electronics product) even without certification, internally BBK phones are better built.
I'm currently using X3 NFC along with 12 pro max.
In past I had Oppo A5 2020 along with iPhone X
And Oppo A57 with iPhone 6 before that
I can vouch that Color OS is on par with iOS in stability (minimal app crashes, minimal app compatibility issues, stock apps work good and phone can go without a reboot between security patches means uptime of 2 months or more)
Color OS 9 and later are infact better than Oxygen OS that's why Oxygen OS is being forked from Color OS now.
And MIUI 12 / 12.5 is on par with worst update of Sense UI on HTC One M7. You don't feel like using a new phone on MIUI, chinese phones from aliexpress with quad core processors have better software experience

But I'm glad they brought the GT Neo/X7 Max at very competitive price and I'm very much happy with the purchase of 12/256 variant. Only the camera could've been better (at least OIS on main cam, higher mp uw & macro, better processing, but at least I use GCam for low-light shots)
I was also interested in buying Oppo's (or realme's since it's a rebrand) 50W Mini SuperVOOC Charger since X7 Max only supports max 50W charging despite the huge 65W brick, but I couldn't find any listings or website to buy it

What is the point in all these articles? Realme & other companies won't release their good all round phones in India anyway. They always disappoint. Just release these phones on Amazon already.
For example - realme GT explorer master edition had decent specs & many people were interested & asked for it on Twitter. But their company representative said that they wouldn't release it in India. Instead they released GT master & GT.

It is a great alternative for the GT master explorer edition, especially for people like me who doesn't like curved screen. Besides, "explorer" is also too pricey for me, which is might be the reason why realme released this one, it is for people who considers budget on buying phones. I would still go for this phone over the poco f3 even if I would have to pay a bit more more because we also have to consider that you Poco F3's software have a lot of bugs because your paying most for its hardware. Unlike realme, it would be a bit expensive than poco because you are also paying for a more stable and better UI software. I hope you guys got my point, I am not that good in english language. NO HATE!
