16 November, 2012
Sony has been quite an Android underdog lately, but its top brass says the odds are about to turn.

AnonD-26174, 19 Nov 2012totally agree with you on your reply in every single word ... moreYou must be quite young because those phones have only been out for the last couple of years. You forget to mention their best phones in their prime with c902/905 was it? ahh the good old slide out flash. now that was sturdy, high end phone at the time. Technology moves to fast..

It's one thing to display a phone and another to release it. Have seen this many times with Sony before where they announce an eye candy phone only to be pipped in the end by the competition , who will release phones with better specs before the Sony flagship.

I feel Sony Xperia lacks of soul!
Sony does not know what the end users want.
Sony Xperia is not a bad design smartphone but has poor built in DAC and the sound quality is bad. Lack of audio playable format such as FLAC , APE....etc.
Sony Xperia did not take advantage of their core technologies like vaio, playstation, sony alpha, Sony hamdycam.. and integrate into the smartphone. Sony has huge contents from Sony music, Sony movie, Sony Playstation but failed to integrate them to Sony Xperia. In short, Sony has reached the cross road!

monopoly will only profit a company in a short term. Apple was once like sony but this sweet blues has dramatically changed to rock. check this link for the facts. www.notenoughshaders.com/2012/09/08/the-ten-year-decline-of-sony/

Sony is not playing catch-up, sony does not want to push there mobile that far atleast until psvita makes enough sales. With sony more spec means more responsibility unlike other companies like samsung. These guys think things through before they jump. Honestly, samsung is total rip off, if they can't set up atleast one unique feature that clearly separate a quad core with the dual ones, then why move that fast like they do. Sooner than later they are gonna pump out a phone with eight cores or more and all for what? To gloat about it?

the problem with sony/ericsson is that there are only few if not limited spare parts and accessories that can be bought to replace damage parts. Authorized service centers are also few. After acquiring their flagship phone P900, i didn't bother to look for their brand handset anymore.

Sadly for its level of phone and size it lacks a couple key things....but its NOKIA still XD and Android would be considered a huge advantage for others. I wish Nokia would make an Android. It would be epic.
