Funny that you're angry about camera news on phone site when currently many people here including corporations treat smartphone like a glorified pocket camera.

I am using an 16 mpx APSC camera for building photography, and I am always impressed how it totally blows out of the water any sh*tty mobile camera sensor wether it is 100 mpx or not, especially the Samsung camera. In very very ideal conditions the mobile sensor had somewhat better details (very well controlled light), in 99% of the times it was lame against the 16 mpx APSC sensor. This shows that resolution on a mobile sensor is completely not used fully maybe becayse of the optics, maybe because the pixels are so small that they can not help to resolve details correctly.

This is perhaps a competitor to the Sony A9 lineup, but considering that this will be for sports, it was quite disappointing that there's only one CF express card slot, especially since the price is quite steep too, and already very close to the Sony A1 that has twice the resolution for the same burst capabilities and addition of 8K recording for future-proofing.

The user eye tracking is remarkable though, if it really works as intended.

Files are often jpeg to quickly be upload to websites or social media.

Imagine the time to transfer 20MP or larger files.
                      Too incovenient.

this canon sensor have pixel size more than 6 micrometer and better dynamic range.

don't compare tiny mobile sensor with full frame sensor.

So basically, that viewfinder looks at the photographer's eye and decide which one it thinks the photographer is eyeing at. That takes some serious deep machine learning juice.
