What I want to know is how is Nokia able to make purchases?
I mean they are losing Billions, closing factories and their market share fell off a cliff.
What regulatory bodies are allowing a company like Nokia to shell out money they don't have to buy things?

Do you think..... Your maps(HERE) would take you to the top position once again? NEVER!
Do all need Maps?
No!
But all need a good Os! Symbian was a good Os and it had once brought you the Crown! Why is it abandoneb? Reasons...
1.You didn't give it any publicity (Now a days all know Android is an Os though it is a few years old. But what about Symbian? Only a few know that Symbian is an Os though it is more than a decade of age! What a pity!
2. You didn't do much work on improving the Os. Ofcourse I understand that there was no other Os in competition to Symbian during those days. So you didn't improve it. Later you got the fear from Android and did a lot of improvements and released Belle. But with a fewer phones! and more over.... before it's release, you announced that Belle is going to die soon? What do you say for this? It is the plan of Stuuuupid Elope to help his X-Lover, Microsoft!
3. Why Android has greater number of apps than Symbian?
Look here Nokia... Maps all alone won't take you to the top position! Tastes differ. So maintain three or four Os(s) don't solely depend on Windows!

Being honest, I really miss Nokia maps and all their Navigation apps. The advantage of free offline voice guided navigation is something few others (mostly paid apps) can match. I'm still trying to find something as useful for Android. Good job Nokia, I'm proud of you

Nokia HERE (Nokia Maps) is better than Google Maps, and far better than Apple Maps.
I always use this everyday of travel.Its totally offline and i like that.

I tried Nokia Here and I didn't like it. I still need to buy a windows Phone 8 to try it out. Maybe the Nokia maps are better on there.

I love how even after Apple failed with it's maps, Nokia is still striving to improve theirs. They arent getting comfortable at all, and that's what benefits us all in the end.

mapin, 21 Nov 2012i agree, and in turn, google maps sucks compared to apple maps.Maybe if you just talking about on the iPhone. Android google maps is way better than the iPhone counter part. I see Apple Maps as useful as the iPhone version of Google maps. For iPhone Navigation, I use Copilot. I rarely use my iPhone and Navigation so its no big deal to me. I am going to try Nokia here right now.

In the US, Google is better with POIs but in the rest of the world, Nokia is better.

of course it is not bad to have more than one map app , but also know that ever app has its goods , no app is bad other than apple maps right now!

mapin, 21 Nov 2012i agree, and in turn, google maps sucks compared to apple maps.go dream dude! nokia maps even cannot as apple maps show you the name of a lot of streets! has woprst support in many regions and even if will have street view it will be very limited to some regions ( google here is the best because it integrates panoramino technology in some regions)
