the Note4 was a perfect and beautiful device with all the features a modern device could have at that time. it was last device having IR Blaster, NFC, Expandable storage, removable battery & 3.5mm jack,
the design was so beautiful and unique, leather finish back with metallic finish edges.
now i'm thinking to have new Note/S22Ultra when it comes.

In my opinion, it's a wise decision made by Samsung to merge the S and Note series as they don't have that much differences in terms of specifications. The Note is basically just an S with S-pen, the Fold has much better differentiator for a 3rd or 4th quarter release.

None of the later Notes really felt as feature-rich as the 4. That phone was a no-compromises phone when it was released. There's never really been anything else like it since.

in reality Note & S series isn't much different since after note 4 as Samsung has become lazy to differentiate the series by porting features between the 2 series and still called it a Note coz it has a stylus that's all. and now that foldable is out sooner or later one or the other will eliminated

I am going to disregard this leak now.
The thing is they are offering Note at the same time but the important thing is, there is not a single phone to replace the Phone Ultra version.
So, this is just a dumb leak.

I loved the note series and their boxy design, but the S line and Note have become so close over the years that there is no point having the 2 lines any more, I would do exactly this, merge the 2 lines, make the S22+ which would essentially be an ultra with all the best hardware, except the S-pen, digitiser, note software, and make the S22 Ultra be the phone with the pen on board and all the note hardware/software, you basically cater for both S series and note series at the same time, nobody loses, eveybody wins, you could give the note users a higher base storage and charge a £100/$100 premium over the S22+, then you have the lower model the S22 which could essentially be a + model from previous years which could be the budget model

tun61, 23 Sep 2021Sd card is much faster than cloud uploading/down loading. And also more reliable to move file to pc using card reader than use usb mtp connection (that sometime can make file failed to move, like when move thousands of files)
