A lil correction. 9A sport has 2gb/3gb while 9i Sport has 4/64 and 4/128 options.

Also both seem to have gotten a newer battery of same 5000mah but thats rated for 25% extra life.

Very expensive for what it is. Need to be sub $100 to be relevant.

Don't need rebabged old bad phones, bring us 10a and 10c

I am using a xiaomi Redmi 9A with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM for almost one year. But my Redmi 9A still smooth like butter. I don't update the MIUI version, all unused Google apps and unused pre-install apps at all. I just update those apps that I am using like Chrome to the latest version.

rizki1, 28 Sep 2021Basically a Redmi 9a and 9c with P2i coating, more ram and ... moreWhich isn't too bad when you think about it, RAM is usually what make the lowest end phones slow.

They're just slacking off, since there's no competition in this price range (even realme already leave this price range). It's not much, but it's still one of the best in this price range (but still not worth to be in redmi 10 family, that's why they call it redmi 9)

What a day this is turning out to be. After Samsung's TFT and eMMC phones with premium pricing, Xiaomi -- after introducing the Note 8 2021 -- is dishing out more of old phones that are actually new (or is are these new phones that are just like old?). Can they get back the Redmi 4i Activ Sport and the Redmi Prime 4 Prime 2021? At least those two were good phones of their time.

Maybe number one in sales but just a Chinese phone company after all. Usual gimmicks

Keep pouring bunch of phone to the market but unable to deliver timely system updates, classic Xiaomi.

Basically a Redmi 9a and 9c with P2i coating, more ram and storage.

I'd say what iPhone has over Xiaomi phones is that iPhones have much less confusing naming schemes.

Such a misuse of terms Sport and Active. Have some respect at least, Xiaomi !

Xiaomeme finally exceeded itself in introducing new(old) models and naming conventions.
