I have 13 pro and using original apple leather case. when using 20W cable charger, phone is getting hot after 5 minutes, after 10 minutes even more. i'll just stick to 12w cable charging, heat is manageable. i know case doesn't help, but who will remove case before each charge ?

So people who bought the 20w charger last year to use with their iPhone 12 will be required to buy a 30w charger to use with the iPhone 13. That's brilliant. Apple are geniuses when it comes to fleecing their flock.

That's pretty genius. Considering how many people are buying Macs now, the faster charging to these parameters is rather awesome.
However, that's assuming that Apple doesn't remove chargers from iPads and Macs.
