Software support longevity is baseline. Less than the absolute best few models, but same or better than "overall market" , but yeah, if you wanna compare to a Samsung S21 flagship that has 3 years? , then no, it's 2 for Asus.

Their AsusTalk website is utterly useless it is supposed to cater or know all the bugs and issues of their phone yet no actions/fixes/updates we hear from them.

If they were willing to sell anything other than the lowest capacity model in the UK I might have one. But they are far from the first to decide that we only need low capacity phones here, and lose sales as a result.

I just hope they can port many, or all, bug fixes they've done these last few months for the current OS version. I'll wait and see how buggy it is before I upgrade.. almost returned it because of all the bugs, but now it's.. good enough.

I just hope Asus steps up their mobile devision customer service and fixes the issues with both Zenfone8 and Rog 5.
The phone have solid specs for the price, but if you like a friend of mine have a fully bricked Z8 out of nowhere and Asus acts difficult with fixing, then the price is not worth it.
For people wondering, there are few topics on Reddit and XDA about issues these phones have, which is a same because again they have solid specs.

Meanwhile, they're teasing the Indian launch for months now (the teaser on their Indian site has been live for quite a while now, since July-August) but still no firm launch date.
