In gaming, more fps/watt. More video rendered in less time etc. These are all stuff you dont need to be flash or quicksilver for. And its not like the higher clocked devices always stay at high frequencies. Also, powerbanks exist, but not soc upgrades.

It just u... morein terms of work done it is limited by how fast human can work on the tablet.. it is no use having a chipset working at higher clockspeed only to wait for human input and draining the battery while doing so.. lower clockspeed is the way to go to save battery.. as long as the tablet does not lag than it is enough speed for work.. It does not need to be a benchmark champ battery guzzler

It just uses little power due to being lower clocked and only using 2 big cores and a low end gpu. But those higher clocked smaller nm devices will get you more work done in same amount of power.

              Anonymous, 06 Oct 2021Surface products have more glue than screw, though.Uh every tablet by almost all OEMs have more glue than screw compared to Surface tablets actually (newer surface tablets have easy access to ssd). Only rugged options on the Android side are easily accessible by screw. All iOS and regular Android tablets are sealed tight by glue.

                Nokia promises 2 years of updates for each of its smartphones, and you think there won't be any updates?
                I am using a Nokia phone and it's getting updates as promised.

                          This is actually a good device from Nokia but dayum, why they gotta be so stingy with the RAM and storage?

                            Getting a used surface go 2 would be a much better value plus you have more granular control of OS and can use full-fledged Office and browser applications (with extensions and all). Still a good thing that we have options and competition though.

Mobile soc can loose as much as 30% of its perfomance or more when under load. So device with better cooling will perform better than other.

                                      For the same price, size and chipset, other brand offers more ram and storage (8/128 and 8/256) like alldocube iplay40h or pro.
