regardless of its crazy spec that might not be released from China market.
I sincerely hope the global market version have MicroSD slot.
Its genuinely a turn off for me, if the unit didn't have MicroSD slot.

You think that hardware costs less than a 100? They make very little margin. They make their main money through cross selling and advertising. Plus, with such low prices and such good value for money, they sell many many units.

I switched to RN10P because I fell in love with its macro camera. And now they put 2mp only, what a nice upgrade. No thanks, another time.

Xiaomi is known for the extremely low money they make per device which is about 6-10%. 6-10 % of 250 is 15-25.the prices get reduced over time because the components get cheaper and the marketing costs become extremely low plus ads.
