Unnecessarily bloated, hideous camera island. Not one, but two fake camera bumps, absolutely cringe. You could maybe, MAYBE pass on that and just a put a case to hide it, but a mediatek finishes it off. Very easy pass on that garbage.

The Poco M3 Pro 5G was an incredible phone. I speak as an owner. But the M4 missed out on the improvement that any self regarding Android user would wish for.
Yes, Android 12.
Android 12 has been /gold code/ for over 1 month now, with ample opportunities for OEMs to port code before October 4th 2021. Yet this is the first example that I can think of a new phone announcement with an already out of date OS. Not a good look Xiaomi.
In terms of Cameras there is some simplification, however the only factor that is at all relevant is whether there will be a high quality Google Camera port .apk to install as there is with the M3.
The changes you made from M3 to M4 are welcomed of course but in practical terms I really don't expect any M3 owner to notice, especially if MIUI 12.5 standard on the M4 will be back ported to M3 (surely that is not too much to ask).
