I personally don't believe anyone is spying on us like do y'all seriously think they want some random datas from totally random users? You all agreed to terms and privacy and else when you purchased your device so it's your fault that you did not read everything, too much conspiracy theories going around and blinding people.

I've been using Huawei since the past 5 years and It's unfortunate to see a good oem like Huawei getting crippled because of political reasons while it's one of few Chinese brand that invest heavily in R&D.

Huawei health app does not allow exporting of data which is a deal breaker in my books. Also who would want to support an economy that wants global dictatorship?

It's 2021 where there is no privacy, every company spies on you, you just need to chose if you prefer the Americans to have your data or the Chinese.
I prefer the Chinese since data collected by China doesn't really affect my life, while the Americans use your data for targeted advertising on Google and Facebook.

Long overdue. Just goggle Lazada or Shopee, there are so many watches that could measure nit only blood pressure but also gives an ECG reading. Accuracy is of course possibly not good but the algorithm m should be available a long time ago. I bought a GT2 Pro a year plus ago and n almost immediately found that many watches can measure BP n mine cannot. Felt so ancient n cheated.

An Huawei smartband with all this new tecnology would be great. For swimmers this smartwatch is a bit big and not very comfy. Huawei has capable engineers to do it.

Blood pressure is VERY VERY Common in no brands watches. But they are not certified. It has been difficult to get accurate reading with the current technology. Good to see a large brand adding it for the first time.

I also tried some cheap smart watches they are junk don't waste the money for it.

To be fair, smart watches don't do what they're supposed to do now..reliably, repeatably.
SPO2 and stress are a joke on most, and they're just "passive" readings.
                              Are the readings even real?

Saying that Garmin and Apple measurements are VERY, VERY, accurate is a flat-out lie. THEY ARE NOT!!! They only have a smaller error margin. There's a reason why you won't see them used to substitute actual medical instruments at health facilities.

I can see how useful this is for people who needs to take regular blood pressure readings throughout the day. Hope the measurements are somewhat accurate though compared to normal blood pressure monitors.

Companies like Apple use heavily reality distortion fielded reviews to create a bias that there is no problem other than you, the user. That is 100% facts.

Companies like Apple and Garmin use heavily customized sensors combined with proprietary algorithms. Amazfit licenses some Firstbeat algorithms on some of its devices and those are generally more accurate, but not as accurate as Apple's. Garmin acquired Firstbeat so I doubt that these agreements will be extended.

Unless there are specific issues with a specific run or other activity, both Apple and Garmin "just work" and track very close to a chest strap at high intensity, while Huawei doesn't.
