Ngl unless a phone manufacturer improves or deviates from the current "glass sandwich" phones, thermals won't improve much. Since no matter how good the internal heatsink is as long as the the frame is still the same as the rest. Reason being the frame, front and back panel is the only way out for the heat being pulled by the heatsinks, all the heatsinks are doing is pulling the heat from the components to the outer shell of the phone where it needs to dissapate.
Aluminum backs would actually improve heat dissipation but it isn't as rigid as the glasses used in phones since they are very thin.

Also this is about power efficiency, the SD 870 is more powerful than 865 but consume a lot of power for little performance gain.
The SD 8 Gen1 is definitely better than SD 888 and closer to SD 865 and Apple A15, but it's a GPU test, I heard the CPU of the SD 8 Gen1 is not very power efficient.

That looks very well designed and put together. Quality all around.
I'm disappointed he didn't make a dragon out of the parts.
I'm impressed he put the phone together again after dismantling it. And it worked.

Notebookcheck did not publish it, some random Youtuber called Golden Reviewer did and his reputation is weak.
No way SD865 outperforms SD870 significantly when 870 is just an overclocked 865.

fanboyssuck, 01 Jan 20228 Gen 1 seems Destined to overheat no matter whatEspecially Xiaomi tends to use cheaper components. Remember the Mi 11 (standard) has a motherboard issue where the phone cannot turn on if it gets damaged? No matter how much Xiaomi puts cooling in their phones it gets destroyed. Check Xiaomi forums and Gizmo China.

Yeah they sai... moreThe keyword is ppi , not the actual resolution. Anything above 300ppi is fine, especially since most people use their phones at arms length, not putting their eyeball right on top of the screen.
There was a blind test between the iPhone XR and an Android phone with higher res screen. Most people picked the iPhone XR as having a better display, despite the lower resolution.

Wow, the two extra camera sensors are way smaller than I expected. They are only 1/2.76 with 0.64um pixels. I thought they were IMX766 1/1.56, no wonder their performance is average.
