After being spoiled by ultra wide screens I can never downgrade to a 16:9 screen again. It's like watching a new movie on an old 4:3 TV.

Blue shifting pixel, burn in, top brightness for top notch xdr quality is still and will be an issue
Oled is and was just a bridge between good long lasting technologies LCD and micro-LED

Anonymous, 03 Jan 2022Linus from LTT has shown that OLED is still going to burn, ... moreTHIS

I have a PS Vita that is 10 years old and still used, no burn-in.

I have a phone with OLED screen that is now 2+ years, and the corners of the screen that are the most tortured with same static UI elements are slowly burning in, rest of the screen is fine.

OLED looks beautiful for desktop use, but I don't sleep on money to waste around €1100 for a OLED 3 to 4 times a year, just because I am a gamer, but also a regular heavy PC user that spends a ton of time in mostly static desktop environments.

Was reading this and thought this would be the one, the perfect monitor. But the joy stopped when I read it's 32". Why can't you make a 38" one Samsung, why? Better yet, a 16:10...

If someone really cares about responsiveness then he would get an OLED. A 120Hz OLED is like having a 360Hz LCD.
