06 January 2022
Australia, for one, will get the Exynos variant.

I'm having overheating problem using videocalls and social media apps. I was going for the Xiaomi 12 (SD 8 Gen 1). Would I be better off buying that instead of this S21 FE?

This article didn't age well because it has Snapdragon 888 practically everywhere.

cozxta, 07 Jan 2022Some people say that S20 FE is a good deal, they sure sold ... moreThe S20FE sold well for the simple reason that all major carriers like Vodafone were practically giving them away for a 2 year contract. I'd be curious to know how many people actually went and bought one from the store without a contract.
I was also curious about it, but after seeing the display problems it has, I ended up quitting the idea of getting a so called flagship killer. There's no such thing.
I'd rather get a Note 10+ or a Note 20 Ultra or jump boats to Sony.
I'm only interested into high-end flagships that have the SD card slot (most importantly) and the 3.5mm jack. No midrange garbage please!
No SD card slot = NO BUY!

............ UMM WHICH MANUFACTURER ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? Samunsg s22.. Realme Gt 2 pro.. oneplus 10 pro.. oppo.. vivo. xiaomi.. even Sony is going with SD 8 gen 1.. so which one is steering clear? Even samsung is putting snapdragon in their mid range now.. like A52s.. m52.. Xiaomi and other Chinese manufacturers went with SD 870.. only Nord 2 went with dimensity and we all know the phone blasting incidences .. Mediatek is the only competition .. that too only under 300usd at most. Still snapdraon 750765/768 is better any day over cheap 5g phones my mediatek like dimensity 700/800 series

When Samsung launched the S20 FE, the 4G version did use an Exynos chipset before Samsung dropped it in favour of the Snapdragon chipset later on. I wonder if Samsung will do the same trick with this new S21 FE.

And now even with S21 Fe, Samsung is following the same cheap tricks, moreover at that laughable price. Was determined to finally get a proper Samsung device but wow Samsung, way to be a douche. Realme GT 2, 1+9rt or even Iqoo 9 are better choices if you can live with their sad OS.

Wait a while for your SD 8 Gen 1.

This phone isn't worth it until or if its price drops to below $540 because this is basically a previous year phone. Everything is recycled even the camera and also there's no charger in the box.

Not to hurt anyone's feelings for Snapdragon, but no shit Exynos 2100 is right on par with Snapdragon 888 for like everything except benchmarking. And for anyone saying Snapdragon doesn't have as much throttling or heating, uh like literally they're flagship SoCs on a new close to flagship model you literally won't see any performance dips or anything because of Samsung optimization. About heating well yes, it will get warm, like any other SoC.
Come on guys I thought you were much smarter than simping for Snapdragon

Doesn't matter if it has Exynos as nobody will buy the phone anyway
