How can it be considered mid range and not low end with those specs (only 512mb ram etc)?
The processor is only slightly faster than the 8S and all other specs are about the same (same screen etc).

I trust huawei will bring the next big WP8 phones to the market.

Lumia / HTC too focus on design and not listening to customer .. and does not look at sd slots or big batteries.

AnonD-86854, 08 Jan 2013With Nokia currently boasting special apps, like City Lens ... moreI'm sure that Huawei knows that there is only one way they can make this work for them vs. Lumia ... and thats aggressive pricing.

With Nokia currently boasting special apps, like City Lens and Music, there's NO way for Huawei, HTC or Samsung to become a bigger WP maker. Nokia is no. 1 and will stay so for years at least.

(WP is getting more and more popular every day. I expect it to become a major player, and later a threat, to iOS and Android. I also expect Nokia to grow a lot this year and make a huge recovery to their 2011-2012 blow.)

I feel 4 inch is the sweet spot for wp8 phones, it needs to be 16:9 aspect ratio thou, like iphones.

Because you would be doing alot of left - right swipe for the various apps, having a narrower screen helps alot!

If nokia where to make their lumia series narrower, it could improve their sales.

Sean, 08 Jan 2013Oh shut up. Not everyone needs Nokia Drive. The HTC models ... moreWell, yeah not *everyone* does, but then not everyone needs NFC, HD screens or fast processors either.

I'm just saying it's an ADDITIONAL FEATURE, and a significant advantage over something that doesn't.

In the light of the recent Google-vs-Microsoft wars, the *only* WP8 devices worth buying are Lumia phones that come with Nokia Drive, Maps etc..

...unless Huawei has a trick up their sleeves.
